After a long negotiations with the government, it was stated that both parties have reached to a term by the committee set up as the Labour Leader announced the suspension of the strike which was to be held on Tuesday 6th November 2018

On the part of the Organized Labour president said the committee was looking to secure an appointment with the president Muhammadu Buhari, adding that its resolution will be passed to the Federal Executive Council, then the National Economic council of state after which the president will initiate an Executive Bill to be transmitted to the National Assembly.

Having reaching this agreement and positions signed, The proposed strike is hereby suspended.

But the Labour President however refused to let the figures agreed out to the public, as he said the figures will be agreed after the committee’s report have been submitted and reviewed by the president muhammadu Buhari.

The chairman of the committee Ms. Ama People joy as their assignment has been concluded as she further said the results will be presented by 4:15pm tomorrow after its being presented and reviewed by the government.
The secretary to the Government federation, Boss Mustapha, thanked all the members of the committee for doing a wonderful job as he described the journey as a long process, he said.
